Well, other than what has already been said about salvaging, you can also have olias set to blood and master of whispers to curses, or something... that way you can switch the hero, not the rune setup.

I sort of scanned through most of the replies but this may or may not have already been mentioned.

I have tried all three challenge missions and recieved at least one piece in each. In the Shadow Nexus mission i actually recieved 3 at once. That being said, I recieved each of those pieces the first time i tried the mission, and although I havent tried them a ton of times (except the worm one) I haven't recieved a single piece since thos efirst attempts, even though I've gotten similar scores a couple of times.

Speaking of scores, the only one I could say to have done extremely well at was the Shadow Nexus one. I don't recall it exactly but I know I eclipsed 100. As for the others... average at best.

Another thing I should note is that I was the only player. Thats obvious in the worm challenge but for the other two I ran with 3 heroes and 4 henchmen, so the idea that they eat drops seems to be out, unless every player in the party would have receieved the same amount of pieces, which also seems unlikely.

Thought I would let y'all know. I'll post pics when I get home / get around to it.

It isn't necessarily completely random either. The chance of drop could gradually increase as you get more points.

From what I've gathered in these posts though is that these armors are actually very easy to get. Wouldn't you guys just rather play instead of post since you get one almost every run?

When I did the Guild Lord one, I got 68 points and got a peice of the armour. The next run I did two days later I got 76, and didnt get an armour peice. So it must be randomized.

I'm thinking for the Guild Lord one it's randomized also.....you get them right after you kill a guild lord (I've checked this), I'm guessing it's like a 25-33% chance to get a green stolen corsair armor per guild lord killed. I've found I can consistently kill 3 guild lords in a team full of heroes and henches.

Killed 3 GLs, in corsair one, 50-something points, got 2 armours, didn't notice them, almost merched. Hench and Heroes

I got 2 sunspear armors at my first run, killed 3 guild lords only.
Ive been trying this mission again for some days now, and regardless of the score i cant seem to get an armor again...
Heroes + henchies only.

As you said, the hero can get his original armor back with no cost...
but can i get him back the nicer one with no cost as well?
(I have already unlocked the nicer one, just wonder is it possiable for me to chanage back and forth)

I was wondering, has any of you got Sunspear Armor after beating the game?
I'm fed up with this challenge, can't seem to get one again... Never sold any, all I ever got there was 2 the first run I made. I really want one more to change Jin's armor.

u can change as many times as you want to the original one and back to the nice armor.
